Medication refill policy
Medication refills are provided only for established patients with an active treatment relationship and a recent clinical evaluation as required by law and good practice.
We do not prescribe controlled substances or new medications without an appropriate telehealth visit and clinical assessment.
How to request a refill
- Use your patient portal or contact our office during business hours — not the emergency contact form.
- Allow at least 48–72 business hours for non-urgent refill requests.
- Include medication name, dose, pharmacy name and phone number, and any changes in symptoms.
- Attend follow-up visits as scheduled — refills may be delayed if you are overdue for monitoring.
What we cannot do
- Same-day refills for controlled substances or when you are overdue for follow-up.
- Refills for patients we have not evaluated or who are not active in our practice.
- Emergency prescriptions via email or unsecure messaging.
